Applied AI Leadership

AI Experience

Building practical AI solutions for mission support, workflow automation, and modern digital experiences.

From experimentation to operational value

Over the past several years, I have focused on applying AI in ways that improve execution, reduce manual effort, and make complex information easier to use. My experience spans custom chatbot development, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), API integrations, workflow automation, and AI-assisted design and development.

I approach AI as both a technical capability and a delivery discipline: selecting the right tools, shaping reliable workflows, and translating requirements into solutions people can trust and adopt.

Focus Areas

  • Custom RAG chatbot design and implementation
  • AI API integration and prompt orchestration
  • Workflow automation in n8n and Power Automate
  • AI-assisted coding, UX/UI, and solution prototyping

Where I Apply AI

RAG Chatbots

Built custom chatbots using retrieval-augmented generation to connect users with relevant information quickly and accurately, including support for the DISA J-9 OSMaaS program.

AI API Integration

Comfortable designing against modern AI APIs, structuring prompts, handling inputs and outputs, and building reliable interactions that fit real business and mission requirements.

Workflow Automation

Created AI-enabled workflows in n8n and Microsoft Power Automate to streamline repetitive tasks, improve handoffs, and reduce operational friction.

AI for Development

Use AI effectively in coding workflows to accelerate prototyping, improve implementation speed, and support solution delivery without sacrificing quality or usability.

AI for Design

Apply AI to interface planning, content refinement, and design exploration to help shape clearer user experiences and more polished digital products.

Human-Centered Delivery

Balance innovation with practical adoption by focusing on usability, clarity, and workflows that support the people actually using the solution.

Featured Experience

Mission-focused chatbot and knowledge workflows

A major area of my recent AI experience has been designing custom chatbot solutions backed by retrieval-augmented generation. This work required more than simply connecting to a model. It involved understanding the information domain, structuring retrieval so responses stayed relevant, and shaping the experience so users could get value without added complexity.

In support of the DISA J-9 OSMaaS program, I have built solutions that reflect both technical implementation knowledge and an operational mindset, with attention to clarity, reliability, and fit for the mission environment.

Capability

Knowledge Retrieval

Connecting users to the right information through structured retrieval and conversational interfaces.

Approach

Workflow-First Design

Designing AI around real operating needs, not just model output, so adoption and usefulness stay front and center.

Tools and Working Style

n8n

Building connected automations that move data, trigger actions, and add AI decision support to business processes.

Power Automate

Designing Microsoft-centric workflows that combine enterprise systems, approvals, notifications, and AI-enhanced steps.

AI APIs

Working with model-driven applications by shaping prompts, handling responses, and aligning outputs to user and program needs.

Delivery Mindset

Pairing technical curiosity with disciplined execution, professional communication, and user-focused solution design.
